It’s Time To Get Involved!

Have you ever been in a team where you just waited in the sideline because you were not a strong player? But you are ready to perform once the coach pull youoff the bench. Yes, you may not be a game changer but you know you can do something for your team. If you are that person, it is now time to get off thesidelines and get involved.

Christ, your heavenly Coach is calling you now to be involved. He has given you a number of gifts and talents that He wants you to use to serve Him. Find your gifts, and find a way to get in the game. There is no excuse. In whatever way you can, it is time for you to get involved.

Within the period of 2016 to 2020, the Treasury Department committed to get involved with the work of the church in the North Philippine Union territory by working and accomplishing the following financial objectives vital to her over-all operations: transparency and accountability in all levels of church organizations, allocation of funds to specific activities and programs, security of church assets and information, obtain tax exemption certificate of all SEC registered church organizations, cooperation and collaboration with supporting ministries in fulfilling

the mission of the church, creation of Think Tank group to provide insights for developmentof church-owned properties, improvement of financial management in all levels, upgrading of finance personnel, risk assessment and contingency planning for all educational institutions, and 10% of institutional net income to be remitted to NPUC to help other organizations that are in need.

The NPUC administration is committed to help our missions and institutions. For 2017, we have extended help or assisted the following:

Naga View Adventist College towards the finishing of its new school building

Northeast Luzon Adventist College towards the construction of two-storey 6 classroom building

Adventist Hospital Santiago City for the purchase of equipment

Adventist Medical Center Manila towards the construction of new school building

“There is need that institutions be established in different places, that men and women may be set at work to do their best in the fear of God. No one should lose sight of his mission and work. Everyone should aim to carry forward to a successful issue the work placed in his hands. All our institutions should keep this in mind and strive for success; but at the same time let them remember that their success will increase in proportion as they exercise disinterested liberality, sharing their abundance with institutions that are struggling for a foothold. Our prosperous institutions should help those institutions that God has said should live and prosper, but which are still struggling for an existence. There is among us a very limited amount of real, unselfish love... It is not pleasing to God to see man looking only upon his own things, closing his eyes to the interests of others” (CH 309.1).

“Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who belong to our family of the faith” (Galatians 6:9-10, NAB).
