The nationwide evangelism endeavorPhilippines for Christ (PFC) 2018 is a call for unity among the Seventh-day Adventists in Central Luzon Conference (CLC) territory.

The church members' commitment, passion and zeal to uphold and advance the Great Commission entrusted by the Lord is by far the most wonderful way to develop our faith in these last days.

Thus, to broaden its influence, reach diverse communities and groups of people, a partnership mission between CLC and the It Is Written (IIW) team realized the purpose.

Based in the United States, IIW is a Christ-centered ministry committed to proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ and spread His love to all through media productions, online Bible study and resources, and public evangelism among others.

Because of the huge need for evangelists to support PFC 2018, Pastor Ely Magtanong, CLC foreign evangelism coordinator, introduced IIW to CLC leaders. Executive Secretary Pastor Eliezer Barrientos communicated with IIW through correspondences while Pastor Benjamin Casimiro, Conference president, took a personal visit to follow-up the request and talk with its directors. After much fervent prayers, the Lord demonstrated to CLC His goodness and providence--IIW is coming to the Philippines with a group of foreign evangelists.

In August 2017, Yves Monnier, IIW director for evangelism, visited the Philippines to meet the Conference leaders for initial planning. Through assessment that followed conceptualization and consultations, the foreign team vowed its support for PFC 2018 with its lead evangelist John Bradshaw, speaker-director of IIW, along with 38 evangelists out of 55 delegates assigned in 38 sites within the Central Luzon territory.

Bradshaw, among others who were dispatched at various churches at the metro, spoke at Pasay Adventist Church for his 14-night evangelistic series that was streaming live nightly at Hope Channel Philippines' social media page. Morever, he shared doctrinal yet easy-to-interpret messages during two special occasions for PFC 2018.

Aside from simultaneous meetings in 38 sites, the IIW team also witnessed two mass baptisms and thanksgiving celebrations on July 13 and 28 at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City and Caloocan Sports Complex, respectively where more than 10,000 precious individuals were baptized.

Immediately after the second part of the thanksgiving celebration at the complex, the Conference administrators and directors showed their utmost gratitude to the IIW Team by inviting them to a special dinner and recognition ceremony at the conference hall of Adventist Medical Center-Manila, Pasay City together with the North Philippine Union Conference officers.

During the testimonial part of the evening, selected foreign guests shared unforgettable stories and experiences in the Philippines that marked their ministries as volunteer evangelists. They have seen the support and enthusiasm of the whole church, and if given another chance, they would love to return and visit the country again.

Truly, the Lord has been so good and gracious to allow the IIW team and other group of evangelists all over the world to take part in this amazing opportunity of sharing the good news of salvation through Philippines for Christ 2018 in Central Luzon. To God be the Glory!
