Sir Palanca is a professor of Palawan State University – Coron campus. After the 10-day series, he was one of the 44 attendees who declared his acceptance to Jesus as his Personal Savior. Ma’am Juwe Fabon expressed her joy while witnessing Sir Toppeth being baptized with other candidates. Ma’am Juwe was the one who invited andassistedSirToppethtothenightlymeetings. Sheis a Seventh-day Adventist and a fellow instructor at the university.
“Having Jesus in my life makes me more inspired to live. I am a believer of God but attending the Amazing Love Seminar has a special impact on me. I have learned a lot about God and His plans for my life,” Sir Toppeth said to the team.
Two teams from Maryland, U.S.A. sponsored and led the seminar in different venues: one at the multipurpose hall of Coron and another at Busuanga municipal gymnasium. Bro. Larry Prudente and Bro. Roni Masangcay were as the speakers. The rest of the team served at the nightly medical consultations, health presentations, music, children’s hour, visitations and community outreach.
“Indeed, our Lord is the Lord of the harvest and we are His reapers! I thank the Lord through our visiting teams for participating in the Philippines for Christ in the Calamian district,” remarked district leader, Pastor Leonard Pehid.
Meanwhile, we recognize Bro. Fred Hilado, a foreman of some construction projects in Coron for inviting his laborers to the nightly meetings. After logging out from work, they would prepare themselves for the seminar. Many of them were baptized and Bro. Fred was instrumental for their conversion.
